I tested positive for Corona and live in a shared flat/hallway. What should I do?
If you have tested positive for Corona, please isolate yourself immediately and inform the person responsible for your dormitory by email. At the same time, inform your housemates.
Only leave your room to use the toilet or kitchen.
We ask you to follow the following times of use!
Kitchen use:
9:00 AM till 9:30 AM
11:00 AM till 12:00 PM
5:00 PM till 5:30 PM
Bathroom use:
10:00 AM till 10:30 AM
5:00 PM till 5:30 PM
Please make sure to air the rooms after use!
Airing also applies to toilet use!
When using the shared areas, please follow the hygiene rules in order to avoid infection as much as possible.
I have terminated my accommodation and actually have to move out in a few days. Now I have Corona and am in quarantine. Do I still have to move out?
No. In this situation, no student union can or will demand that you vacate your room/apartment! Even now, the following already applies in enforcement law: The tenant’s right to physical integrity has priority over the eviction interest of the owner/landlord. Since all people are called upon to act in solidarity and drastically reduce contacts, the tenant cannot be obliged to move out – also for the protection of others.
This also applies if you live in a flat or a shared room or sublet on the open housing market.
