The sauna is available to all residents of Pfaffenhof I & II. Reservations can be made in 2-hour time slots. Up to 6 people may use the sauna at the same time during each time slot.
We ask that you follow the house rules and leave the sauna clean and tidy after use.
Terms of Use
After the last sauna session
- Set the vent lever (located at the back left of the sauna cabin) all the way down to level 4 (OPEN).
- Remove any large debris (e.g., leaves) from the sauna.
- Remove the infusion bucket and spoon from the sauna.
- Turn off the sauna heater.
Before leaving the sauna area
- Open the sauna door.
- Set the fan to 60 minutes (turn 360° clockwise).
- Fill the infusion bucket completely with fresh water and place it in the shower; hang the infusion spoon on the coat hook.
- Hose down the shower area with the shower hose and use a squeegee to push the water toward the drain.
- Lift the chairs and use a squeegee to push the water from under the benches, the doormat, and the table toward the drain.
- Remove debris from the drain grate and flush it down the toilet. Otherwise, the drain may become clogged.
- Tidy up the shelf and empty the trash can (the trash container is located by the front door of the house across the street). Leave the bathroom door, shower curtain, and sauna door open.
- Turn down the heat in the lounge and open the sliding grille at the bottom of the front door.
Is there a fee for the reservation?
Yes, there is a €5 sauna fee. You can pay this in cash by placing it in the key safe.
